Dr. Louis is an accomplished scientist and experienced business leader with over 20 years of experience in biotechnology development & commercialization, and business management. Dr. Louis joined Telo Genomics in 2015 as Director, Clinical Operations, and assumed the role of CEO in 2018. Prior to joining Telo Genomics Dr. Louis held the position of VP, Scientific Programs with Genome Prairie, Canada. He led a portfolio of technology development and commercialization initiatives. These initiatives led to the commercialization and/or improvement of over 8 technologies, that benefited 7-10 small and mid-size national and international enterprises. Prior to joining Genome Prairie, Dr. Louis held management and leadership positions with several organizations focused on fostering innovative technologies to bridge the gap between research and industry. Dr. Louis also served on the Board of Directors of enterprises and non-profit organizations. As a scientist, Dr. Louis is a key contributor to the TeloView® technology, currently being commercialized by Telo Genomics. Dr. Louis holds a PhD degree in oncology from University of Manitoba, a MSc degree in industrial biochemistry from the University of Manitoba and a PMP certificate in project management.
